Wolverine #82,107-109,150-153,158,173-176After returning from the Secret Wars, Wolverine and the X-men were teleported back to Earth, to Japan, where they fought a gaint dragon. Young Amiko's mother was killed in the devastation. Mariko Yashida and Wolverine took Amiko in and she became Mariko's ward. After Marikos death, Wolverine arranged for foster parents to take care of Amiko, but found out they treated her like a slave. Wolverine rescued Amiko and placed her in the care of Yukio. Wolverine also returned the Honor sword to Silver Samurai, in return Wolverine ask for Silver Samurai to protect Amiko.
