After Thomas Logan killed, John and James killed Thomas Logan, Grandpa rejected and banished his grandson James after finding out he had bone claws comming from his hands. Grandpa Howlett then took Dog under his care and years later rejected banishing his grandson, James, Grandpa Howlett ask Dog to find his Grandson before he past away. Dog gathered all the information from Grandpa Howlett and went to search for james, with no intention to bring james back, only to kill the James for killing his father thomas Logan.
