Origin #1-3James Howlett was born the second son to John and Elizabeth Howlett, who were whealthy and lived in a mansion. As a child james befriends Rose his caretaker and Dog the son of the groundskeeper Thomas Logan. Later, John removed Thomas Logan and his son Dog from his estate for being dangerous, Thomas Logan returned for Elizabeth Howlett, who he was having an affair with, but John Howlett caught Thomas before he could leave and Thomas shot and killed John in front of James eyes. James burst with anger and claws thrusted from his hand and he stabbed and killed Thomas Logan and slashed Dog across his face. Elizabeth and Grandpa Howlett rejected James as a freak and Rose helped James get faraway to a stone quarry in Northern British columbia. James going in out of a comma like state, was renamed Logan by Rose who was tring to keep his real identity a secret. James became an out-doors man and embraced his new name "Logan", telling himself and Rose that the life he had before never existed.
