In San Francisco, at Burt's Competency hearing, the courtroom is a brawl, Patch, Archie, Jessica, Burt on horseback and a Bunch of Vampires. The judge escapes to his chamber to call for back up, only to be mocked by the police. Burt and Jessica on horseback escape out the window and down the street. Some of the vampires follow them in a car, they want the diamond that Burt has. After beating the vampires in the courthouse, Patch and Archie jump into a police car and try to catch up to the vampires following Burt. More Vampires jump into a police car to chase Patch and Burt. Burt tells Jessica that the vampires are the followers of Ba'al and they are after the diamond he stole from the museum, because when you combine that diamond with the others it is the source of Ba'als power. Archie and Patch catch up to the vampires cashing Burt and Jessica. Patch hangs out the window of the car and cuts the tires on the vampire's car and they crash. The vampires in the police car behind ram Patch with their car. Patch using his claws makes them crash into a trolley. With no vampires chasing them they all stop and change cars and head to the airport together.
