Early Sunday Morning in Chicago, Jubilee is running down an alley, being chased by a car. Suddenly a huge fiery phoenix in gulfs the car. Then Jubilee sees a badly beaten Wolverine crucified and bleeding on a huge X. Jubilee realizes that this is from her past in Australia, Jubilee helps Wolverine off the X, then Jubilee sees Gateway and ask for him to help them, but he does nothing. Jean Grey as the phoenix dressed in green tells Jubilee to join her, but something about her wasn't right. Jubilee drags Wolverine and they fall down a hole into some catacombs, the old Reaver’s base. Tyger Tiger, Psylocke, and Jessica Drew show up all dressed in green, hunting down Wolverine and Jubilee. Jubilee drags Wolverine into a hiding space. The three ladies can't find them until a drop of blood falls from Wolverine's wounds. Jubilee uses her power to blind the ladies, so she and Wolverine could escape. Jubilee takes Wolverine into another room so he could heal, the wall explodes and Rouge and Yukio come in, Yukio admittedly throws daggers, which would have stabbed her in the chest if Shadowcat had not phased Jubilee through the wall of the Xavier Institute in Massachusetts waking her up from her nightmare.

Xavier Institute in Massachusetts, Jubilee tries to attack Shadowcat, but Shadowcat explains that she is not an enemy and either is her dragon, Lockheed. Jubilee ask how she could trust her if she is wearing green like everyone else in her nightmare. Shadowcat explains that a woman by the name of Viper has got control of six of the X-ladies. Shadowcat was going to be captured too, but escaped and rescued Jubilee out of her dream. Shadowcat tells Jubilee that even though she was dreaming, what was happening was real. Jubilee ask what Viper wanted, Shadowcat tells her that Viper planned to use people that Logan loved against him to defeat him and that they had to warn Logan about what Viper was doing. Jean Grey and Rogue fly in and attack, Jubilee tells Gateway to teleport them away.

In Australia, Jubilee takes Shadowcat to change out of her green uniform, then Jubilee has Gateway teleport them to the Yukon at the base of Mt. Logan, they don't find Logan but they notice that he was there recently. Suddenly the building explodes, throwing Shadowcat and Jubilee away from each other. Jubilee blinds Rouge, then Shadowcat phases her hand through Rouge causing Rouge to pass out. Tyger Tiger grabs Jubilee from behind and shots Shadowcat in the face with a solution that hardens and keeps Shadowcat from phasing. Lockheed flies in and breaths fire at Rouge and Tyger Tiger, then carries Jubilee and Shadowcat into Gateway’s teleport.

Agarashima in Miyago prefecture, on the island of Honshu, Logan watches as Jubilee, Lockheed and a frozen Shadowcat come through the tele-portal. Suddenly Yukio jumps off of a roof throwing daggers at Logan, Logan blocks them with his staff. Yukio runs up and kicks Logan's staff, breaking it, then punches Logan in the face and the gut. Logan blocks her next attack, slugs her in the gut and jump kicks her in the face, but Psylocke stabs Logan in the back of the head with her psychic knife and falls unconscious.

Logan wakes up in a pit of serpents. Hallucinations cause Logan to see one of the serpents as Jean. More poison is given to Logan and Logan’s memories of Silver Fox and Mariko. Logan attacks back at the serpents that turn into different woman from his past. Jubilee appears and tells Logan to grab her hand, but Logan's senses tell him that its not Jubilee. Logan finally sees that it is Jubilee and he stops hallucinating.

Madripoor, Logan realizes that he is in the owner's suite of the Princess Bar. Logan fights against Jean Grey's psychic will. Suddenly Black Widow silently knocks out Tyger Tiger, jump kicks Jean Grey, punches out Psylocke and Yukio and shots Viper with poison. Jubilee plasma blast the Shadowcat, so she can escape being frozen. Logan tackles Rogue, Rogue kisses Logan to drain him of his energy. Shadowcat phases into rouge, which causes Rouge to pass out. Shadowcat then uses Rouge as a shield and Psylocke hits Rouge with her Psychic knife. Black Widow is still with Yukio and Jessica Drew, while Logan chases down Viper. Jean wakes up and knocks everybody out with a huge psychic blast. Jean flies at Shadowcat, but Shadowcat phases which causes them both to pass out.

Cellar of the Princess Bar, Viper runs down the stairs, then turns and shots at Logan with two pistols. Logan slashes at her, hitting her in the gut and in the face. Logan is about to kill Viper when Jubilee stops him and tell him not to kill viper. The rest of the X-ladies wake up come downstairs into the cellar. They ask why Viper is after Logan so bad, Logan reveals that Viper is his wife. Jubilee's and Shadowcat's hearts break at the news and the rest of the X-ladies look surprised.
