Hardcase’s Bar in New York, Logan is back at the bar that he and Warbird were at before he was possessed by Aria the Zennan alien. Logan and Hardcase talk about old time and how Hardcase uses the bar as a front, he still sends mercenaries on missions for whoever pays the bill. Cable walks in and greets Logan and Hardcase, he realizes that he looks like Hardcase. Logan ask for Hardcase to pour Cable a drink, but Cable couldn’t handle it. Suddenly a mercenary named Longbow crashes through the window of the bar. Hardcase checks on Longbow, while Logan and Cable jump through the window and follow the person that beat up Longbow.

Rooftop, Logan and Cable catch up to the person, but its not a person at all, it’s a creature that attacks Logan. Cable tries to attack it with his staff, but the creature knocks Cable off the roof. Logan unleashes his claws that still haven’t grown to full length yet and stabs them into the creature’s gut. Cable pulls himself back up onto the roof. A helicopter flies up and opens fire on Logan and Cable. The creature jumps onto the helicopter, Cable blast the helicopter as it flies off, but it causes no damage.

Hardcase’s Bar, Hardcase, Logan and Cable question Longbow one what happened. Longbow tells them that she was hired to find out who was creating these creatures and that they were responsible for different disappearances all over the world.

The Docks, Wolverine and Cable find that the helicopter crashed into the ocean. Suddenly the creature attacks Wolverine and Cable, they try to fight back, but it begins to engulf them. Wolverine and Cable try to brake free, but can’t. A man named Arnim Zola comes up to Cable and Wolverine with his mutated creatures. Wolverine stabs his claws into the creature that holding him, it lets Cable and Wolverine free. Wolverine attacks the creatures and Cable steals a remote control that Arnim Zola was holding. Cable uses the remote and realizes that he can control Arnim Zola’s creature. Suddenly Cable and Wolverine fall from the bottom of the creature. Cable tells Logan to stay still, so that he could use his telekinesis to stop them from hitting the ground hard. Cable tells Wolverine that as long as Arnim Zola doesn’t have his remote control his creatures will be harmless. Wolverine tells Cable that they haven’t seen the last of Arnim Zola.

In Arnim Zola’s creature, Arnim Zola walks through his creature to a cell inside where he is keeping Viper, Wolverine’s wife prisoner.
