Years ago at Department H in Canada, James and Heather Hudson watch as Wolverine tries his new uniform and actually liked it. A military man named Chasen comes in and tells Wolverine about his first mission for Department H. Wolverine doesn’t get to excited because James Hudson already told Wolverine that the mission was really a training mission, with actor playing terrorist.

Abandoned warehouse in Canada, Wolverine sneaks up on the actors who were playing terrorists. Wolverine attacks the terrorist, not using too much force, since they were just actors. James Hudson watches Wolverine in a van just outside the warehouse on monitors. The terrorists pull out shotguns and try to take out Wolverine, but Wolverine is just too much for them and takes them all out. Suddenly, Wolverine vanishes out of thin air.

Leader’s secret underground base, Wolverine wakes up strapped to a table. A mutant named Leader tells Wolverine that he is going to help him defeat the incredible Hulk. Wolverine looks around and notices that Hercules and an alien named Karkas. Leader want to use them all to beat Hulk and bring him to Leader, so Leader can kill Hulk and restore him to Bruce Banner. Wolverine gets free from his shackles and attacks Leader. Leader calls for his Humanoid army to get him. Wolverine frees Hercules and Karkas and they attack the Humanoid army, while Wolverine chases after Leader, who escapes in a floating chair.

Down a corridor, Wolverine catches up to Leader, but gets caught in a trap, Wolverine pulls himself free and damages Leader’s chair, which crashes into a vat of gamma-negating bath that he was going to use on the Hulk. Leader activates a huge mech, which tries to attack Wolverine, but the mech looses his footing when the gamma solution hits its feet. The mech crashes into the wall, which causes the whole base to collapse in on its self. Wolverine claws his way out of being buried and finds Hercules and Karkas, they explain that they throw the humanoid army into a deep chasm. Wolverine realizes that they are in New Mexico desert.

Department H in Canada, James Hudson sits at a conference with all the lead military men behind Department H and tries to explain how Wolverine disappeared. They are worried because the Hulk has been sighted on Canadian soil. Wolverine walks in and tells them not to worry that he back and ready to take on the Hulk.
