Vancouver, Canada, a swarm of fly’s controlled by a Demon shaman takes over the Alpha Flight Headquarters.

Several miles away, Shaman uses his magic to contact Logan, using a lizard.

Westchester, New York, Logan meditates in the forest, when the lizard approaches him. Logan picks up the lizard and it tells Logan that Shaman has urgent need for him.

Several hours later, Logan shows up at the Alpha Flight base, which is covered with a magical shield cast by a demon. Shaman tells Logan that if they enter the only way to get out is in victory. Logan tells him that he wouldn’t have it any other way. Shaman opens a way in and they both enter.

Inside the shield, Shaman explains that when a Shaman journeys to the next world, something draws them back, they need to confront their darkness, so they can continue to journey. Logan shows his claws and says he will take care of him. Shaman says that Logan’s claws only work in the physical world, so Shaman says he will have to fight the Demon Shaman in the Astral plane. Shaman tells Logan that the Demon shaman has probably possessed Sasquatch, Puck and Snowbird. Shaman gives Logan three grubs to put on them so the Demon shaman will loose control over them. Logan starts to search for Alpha Flight members, when 3 huge insects surround Logan and threaten to eat him. Logan tears them to shreds. Suddenly Sasquatch punches Logan through some tress, then smashes him into the ground and punches him over and over again. Sasquatch picks Logan up, but Logan puts a grub on him and suddenly he realizes that he is hurting Logan, Sasquatch helps Logan up, just as Puck runs by and punches Logan in the nuts. Sasquatch and Logan chase Puck through the area.

Elsewhere in the possessed complex, Shaman uses his magical powers to enter the Astral plane, where Shaman meets the Demon shaman. The Demon shaman wants Shaman’s new apprentice, Chuck Moss, he can use him to return to earth as a god.

Elsewhere, Sasquatch and Logan enter a area where the Demon shaman has captured Snowbird, they both look like obese flies. Logan attacks the shaman and slashes him open.

Astral plane, Shaman uses his magic to attack the Demon shaman with a swarm of flies. The flies eat the flesh from the Demon shaman’s bones.

Elsewhere, Logan, Shaman, Puck, Snowbird and Sasquatch attack the Demon shaman in the physical realm and kill him. They clean the area of the Demon shaman’s influence. Shaman tells Logan that he needs his help to teach his apprentice to be a warrior. Logan agrees to stay and set him straight.
