Police station, Lester gets questioned on the whereabouts of Tawanda Barnes and her son Juwan. Lester tells them that he was at Sullivan’s bar and then went home for the night, bit the Internal Affairs officers question him since he is drunk. Lester tries to explain that McLawry killed Tawanda and Juwan to cover is tracks for Elijah Snow shooting. Lester’s boss tells him that he is suspended and asks for his gun and badge, but Lester tells him that he lost his gun. McLawry sees that he is cleared of the Elijah Snow shooting and Lester is now the one under investigation. McLawry tells his partner to go with him to Sullivan's bar to celebrate.

Sullivan’s Bar, McLawry goes to the bathroom, then suddenly a stranger asks McLawry how does it feel getting away with it. McLawry gets mad and ask what newspaper does he write for, the stranger turns and reveals that it is Logan. Logan tells McLawry that he knew he shot the kid four hours after he shot the mom and shot Elijah Snow about eight days before that. McLawry grabs Logan and ask what he knows. Logan tells him that he knows everything. McLawry partner enters the bathroom and Logan walks out. McLawry tells his partner that he has to go, but his partner knows that he is up to no good.

Outside, Logan waits for McLawry to follow him, McLawry comes out and hits Logan in the back of the head, drags him into an alley and puts Logan into his car trunk.

Elsewhere, McLawry drives out to nowhere, opens the trunk of his car and finds Logan awake. Logan tells McLawry that he thinks that he is just a coward murderer that hides behind his badge. McLawry shots Logan in the head and buries Logan. McLawry drives off, just as Logan cuts his way out of the ground.

Sullivan's Bar, Lester sits at a booth, the waitress ask if he wants his usual, but Lester tells her that he doesn’t drink anymore and orders coffee. The waitress gives Lester bourbon on the rocks, but Lester tells her that he didn’t order it. The waitress tells Lester that the man at the bar did, but the man was gone and left a package. Lester opens the package and finds his gun and a map of all the places McLawry hid his victim’s bodies. Lester gets so excited that he runs out of the bar with the evidence. Logan walks out of the bathroom and the waitress compliments him on his appearance and says that Lester took off without drinking his drink, Logan takes the shoot and leaves.
