In Madripoor, The assassin, Snow Queen is getting preparing to kill someone. She leaves her hotel room and is swarmed by little kids begging for dollars. She tells them to get back, then one of the kids, Aldo grabs her briefcase and runs off. Snow Queen pulls out her gun and shots at the kid, she didn't want to shot the kid because in the briefcase was a bomb. Some of the other kids run to the public streets and ask the people for help but no one believes them. Patch can smell the stink of fear on them. Patch starts to track down the lady.

In Aldo's hidden place, Aldo opens Snow Queen's briefcase. Inside, Aldo finds American dollars and what he thinks to be a radio. Aldo turns it one to see if he can get music, the numbers start counting down, so he thinks it's broken.

Patch finds Snow Queen and grabs her, Suddenly, a whirlwind of static goes around him, messing with his senses, then stops and she was gone. Patch realizes he knew her back when he worked for Canadian government. she is a hotshot assassin with the power to short out peoples perception of the world.

Patch goes to the bar and questions the bar keeper on where the kids live. The bar keeper tells him about a guy named, Ganif who is the ringleader of the kids. Patch locates the ringleader and tells him that he could kill him, but he just needs a piece of Aldo's cloths, so he can track him. Ganif agrees and gives Patch a headband of Aldo’s, Patch hits the streets to track down Aldo.

Elsewhere, the Snow Queen captures another kid, Rose and tells her to take her to Aldo. They find Aldo, Aldo runs up on the roof of the building and the Snow Queen follows. She is going to kill Aldo, when Patch leaps on her. They get into a fight, She uses her powers again and manages to cut Patch, then She shoots Patch, thinking Patch is dead. She shoots at Aldo, but it hits rose, and knocks her off the roof, dangling with one arm. Patch slices Snow Queen's gun to pieces. Snow Queen takes the briefcase back and runs away. Aldo rescues Rose, Patch helps stop Rose's bleeding. A couple of rooftops away from Patch, Snow Queen opens the briefcase not knowing the briefcase was armed, there’s is a big explosion, killing Snow Queen.
