In Venice California, Logan runs into the burning warehouse. Elsie Dee screams out the window to draw Logan closer. Storm flies up to the window to save Elsie Dee, but she backs away from the window. Elsie Dee causes a massive explosion, so Storm wouldn't get any closer. Logan runs upstairs, the fire burns all around him.

At the Venice pier, Albert severely damaged crawls underneath the pier. Albert doesn’t want to lose Elsie Dee, then he would be alone.

In the burning warehouse, second floor, Logan rushes in, his body totally on fire. Elsie Dee is shocked to see Logan on fire, but he still comes to save her. Elsie Dee begins to care for him. Logan picks up Elsie Dee and tells her nothings going to hurt you now. Elsie Dee begins to cry in Logan's arms. Storm notices how tense Elsie Dee is. Elsie Dee explains that she is an android, and she is concentrating extremely hard to prevent her detonation program from killing Logan. Elsie Dee tells Logan to save himself, because she doesn’t think she can stop it. Logan tells Elsie Dee that he is staying and believes she can stop herself from exploding. Logan tells her that her caring emotion is a human feeling and that she is worth saving. Logan tells Storm to clear out the boardwalk.

Albert gets Sally and his men to take him to Radio Hut store, Albert uses the computers there to connect into the National Security Agency's Cray Computers in Maryland. Albert runs Elsie Dee's program on it. Albert is trying to obtain the numbers to deactivate Elsie Dee's detonation program. The NSA tracks the signal to the Radio hut in Venice, Ca, the y tell the FBI to go get Albert. With 30 seconds to go, Albert obtains the code. He runs outside to transmit the code to Elsie Dee, The FBI is outside waiting for him, they open fire on him. Albert tries to transmit as she is shot, Albert collapse to the ground. Elsie Dee's detonation sequence cancels. Logan and Elsie Dee hug, But Elsie Dee tells Logan that she can't hear Albert on her transmitter.
