On a rooftop in Time Square, Wolverine, Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth and the Hunter in Darkness are battling it out. Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth gang up on Wolverine, but Wolverine keeps up with them. The Hunter in Darkness recognizes Wolverine's scent and remembers back that Wolverine had saved him from a bear trap in Canada. The Hunter in Darkness joins in the battle on Wolverine's side, attacking Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth.

Meanwhile, Jubilee climbs the fire escape to get to the top of the building. Wolverine falls off the roof onto the Fire escape badly hurt. Jubilee takes a look at the fight on the roof. The Hunter in Darkness was fighting good against Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth. After letting his body heal for a minute Wolverine rejoins the battle.

In the sewers, Albert still rebuilding Elsie Dee. Albert constructed a particle accelerator to power Elsie Dee's internal reactor. They hear a weird animal killing an alligator

Back to the fight, Lady Deathstrike and the Hunter in Darkness battle it out, as Wolverine and Sabretooth fight. The mysterious lady can't see in the dark, so she fires blind at the moving shadows, Sabretooth gets hit by the bullet. The mysterious lady shots again and hits Lady Deathstrike of the rooftop, she falls to the streets below. Jubilee shots fireworks at the mysterious lady, blinding her for the moment. The Hunter in Darkness sees the fireworks and gets scared and runs away. The mysterious lady reveals that she is Emmy Doolin and wants to kill the Hunter in Darkness because it killed her dad, Sergeant Doolin. Wolverine is hit by a bullet. Wolverine and Sabretooth both begin to hallucinate from the mercury-tipped bullets, causing them to see Emmy as a Wrangler, security personnel from the Weapon X project. Jubilee knocked Emmy Doolin down. Emmy hits jubilee in the back of the head her rifle. Sabretooth calls Wolverine his partner, but Wolverine punches him out. Wolverine stops Emmy by slicing her rifle to pieces. Emmy demands that Wolverine tell her where the Hunter in Darkness is. Jubilee punches Emmy out. Ronald Parvenue pulls up to Lady Deathstrike and offers her a ride so the can talk business. Sabretooth escapes when Wolverine wasn't looking.
