South Bronx, New York, a gang of mutant-hating teenagers called the Vidkids are chasing down a Morlock, the Morlock tries to evade them, but their are to many of them. The Vidkids surround him and beat him to death. The Vidkids record the killing and then send it to Eye-witness news. Eye-witness news plays it on the TV. Shatterstar sees the beating on the news, and thinks that this is the same kind of TV they play on his world. Shatterstar gets suited up for battle. Cannonball ask if Shatterstar was going to train in the Danger room. Shatterstar tells Cannonball that tonight he is not training, tonight he plans to hunt down the Vidkids in the Bronx of New York.

At the X-mansion, in the Danger room, Rogue and Wolverine train against simulated dinosaurs and natives from the Savage Land. Wolverine tells Rogue that she has to be ready for anything. a simulated Magneto pops out and blast Rogue, Wolverine cuts the Magneto in half. After the training, Wolverine learns about the Vidkids from Rogue and the news, Wolverine heads out to the streets for the Vidkids. Searching for evidence in South Bronx, Wolverine encounters Shatterstar. Shatterstar and Wolverine think that eachother are Vidkids. Shatterstar takes a swing at Wolverine with his sword and misses, Wolverine kicks Shatterstar in the stomach, Shatterstar jumps back and swings, Wolverine blocks with his arm, punches Shatterstar in the stomach and pins Shatterstar' head against the wall with his claws, the middle claw waiting to stab through Shatterstar's head. Shatterstar realizes that he is fighting the lengendary Wolverine, and offers his sword and his life to Wolverine. Wolverine realizes Shatterstar is a member of X-Force after smells Cable's scent on Shatterstar's uniform. Wolverine tells Shatterstar to get up and help him get the Vidkids.

Near the Brooklyn Bridge, the Vidkids find and chase another Morlock into the subway tunnels. Wolverine and Shatterstar attack the Vidkids, a big brawl breaks out, Wolverine and Shatterstar easily beat the Vidkids up. Shatterstar threatens to kill one of the Vidkids, because they reflected everything that Shatterstar used to be. Wolverine stops Shatterstar and tells him the best way to make them stop is to destroy the Vidkids' video cameras. Wolverine and Shatterstar leave, allowing the police to arrest the Vidkids.
