Acient temple, throne room, Wolverine and Sauron battle back and forth. The opens up on each side, leaving Wolverine and Sauron fighting on a bridge with a fire pit below. Sauron uses this to his advantage by flying under the bridge and getting behind Wolverine. Sauron cuts Wolverine's hamstring with his claws. Wolverine tries to stand, but with his tendon cut he can't, Sauron cuts into Wolverine's back, throwing Wolverine off the bridge, but Wolverine grabs onto the edge of the ledge. Wolverine pulls himself up onto the bridge, Sauron continues to fly by Wolverine slashing at him with his claws. Sauron's followers, Barbarus, Amphibious and Equilbrious are amazed that Wolverine isn't dead. Wolverine tells Sauron that hamstring injury or not he will continue to fight and stands to his feet.

In the cave, Jubilee falls out and lands on the back of a pterodactyl and it takes off. Jubilee lacks control of the pterodactyl and the natives follow her on their pterodactyl. A native tells Jubilee that he is going to kill her because she had embarrassed him in front of his tribesman for stealing his Pterodactyl.

In the Citadel, Rogue manages to escape by breaking her chains off and putting a little lizard in the war of the electronic beam that was supposed to hit her and transform her back into a primordial state. The lizard takes the full-force of the laser, and the lizard transforms into a gigantic lizard. Rogue knocks the lizard out, then kicks Gaza in the back of his head, knocking him out. Brainchild tries to run and escape, but Rogue flies over and grabs him and demands to know who is behind all of this. Brainchild tells Rogue that he can't say the name, but mentions that Sauron was causing trouble lately.

Acient temple, throne room, Wolverine charges at Sauron and jumps off the bridge into the air grabbing Sauron as they fall into the fire pit below, Wolverine slashes at Sauron. They hit the bottom, Sauron gets loose and flies back up to the bridge and orders his followers to throw rocks and boulders down on Wolverine. Wolverine doesn’t have much room to move in the fire pit, the rocks hit and bury Wolverine.

In the sky over the Savage Land, Jubilee uses her walkman as a weapon and hits the native off his Pterodactyl. Jubilee realizes that the native is going to die when he hits the ground, so she commands her Pterodactyl to swoop down and grab the native. The tribesmen accept Jubilee into the tribe for saving the native and because she managed to get the pterodactyl to obey her through a mind-link, they decide to have a party in Jubilee's honor.

At the campsite, Rogue notices that Wolverine and jubilee are not at the camp, Rogue follows a stampede of dinosaurs running into a ancient temple.

Acient temple, down in the fire pit, Wolverine unburies himself and yells to Sauron that he is still their and ready to fight. Sauron orders the natives to make the stampede of dinosaurs run into the fire pit and land on Wolverine.
