Coyote Crossing: Part 4,

Nestor’s bar, Angel the bartender escorts the last customers out of the bar and finds Cassie Lathrop still sitting at one of the tables, guzzling down a pitcher of beer. Angel tells her that she has to go, but she refuses to leave. Nestor tells Angel that he can go home, then Nestor gets a bottle of tequila and sits with Cassie. Cassie tells Nestor that she saw Logan swim the Rio to Mexico and is going to wait until he gets back.

Rojas Mansion, Logan stands ready to strike Rojas down, but can’t find it in himself to strike at a pregnant women, no matter how evil she was. Rojas tells Logan that she has had many killed and that life is cheap. Rojas tells Logan that he is just a rabid dog who loves to kill. Logan gets angry and slashes the chair that Rojas is sitting in and yells to the sky, slashes a statue screaming for her to shut up. Logan calms himself, retracts his claws and leaves. Rojas begins to go into labor and calls for someone to help her, but all her men were dead.

Later at Nestor’s bar, Logan enters his room above the bar to find Cassie sitting at his table. Cassie gives Logan a beer and asked what happen with Rojas. Logan explains what happen and goes to bed, then tells Cassie to leave. Cassie tells Logan that she wants to stay. Logan tells her to sleep on the couch.

Later that night, Cassie wakes up to find Logan gone. Cassie heads down into the bar and ask Nestor where Logan is. Nestor tells her that Logan head back across the border for unfinished business. Cassie can’t believe that Logan was going to go back and kill Rojas. Cassie is about to leave, when Logan walks into the bar with a newborn baby girl, he ask for Cassie’s help to get the baby to stop crying.
