Akamatu, Japan a Secret city in a forgotten forest only visible for 15 minutes after dawn, over a thousand Hand ninjas prepare for battle, by equipping them selves with swords, bows, num-chucks and bow and arrows. Wolverine crashes his sentinel through the secret city’s wall and commands the sentinel to fire on all Hand ninjas. Hand ninjas jump onto the Sentinel and attack Wolverine and while Wolverine defends himself, they also begin to cut at the sentinels mid-section. Wolverine realizes that they are trying to cut the sentinel in half, but before he can stop them, they cut through. The legs of the sentinel separate and crash into the ground and with no propulsion the upper torso crashes into the ground as well, sending Wolverine and the Hand ninjas everywhere. Wolverine quickly gets up and continues to kill the ninjas. Hand ninjas with bow and arrows shot at Wolverine, but Wolverine uses the dead Hand ninjas as shields. Wolverine thinks about Rikuto, the kidnapped boy the Hand killed and goes into a berserker rage that tears through the crowds of ninjas, until there is no one left. Wolverine makes his way to a small house at the end of the courtyard.

Inside the Hand’s hideout, Wolverine makes his way past hundreds of Hand ninjas and approaches a altar, where the Hand leaders stand. The Hand leaders tell Wolverine that they know why he is there and it amuses them. Wolverine unleashes his claws and tells them that they will not be amuses for long. Wolverine ask where the Gorgon is? They reply that Gorgon is no longer their leader, since he began to run Hydra, Elektra is their new leader. Elektra steps forward, the Hand leaders tell Elektra to execute Wolverine. Elektra attacks at Wolverine, but Wolverine blocks the attack, but at the same time Elektra speaks into Wolverine’s mind without using her voice and tells him to attack the Hand leaders on the left, while she kills the ones on the right. Wolverine doesn’t understand what’s going on, but does as she asks. They both turn and attack the leaders, quickly killing them and then they work as a team to kill off the hundreds of Hand ninjas that where left. Elektra explains that she has already been brainwashed once and couldn’t again, then tells Logan that she pretended to be so she could find out the locations of Hydra’s bases. Wolverine, dripping with green blood calls into SHIELD and tells them of his progress and ask to be picked up.

Top secret SHIELD hospital, a SHIELD agent goes to nick Fury’s bedside and tells him of Wolverine’s success. Nick Fury all bandaged up cracks a smile.
