Computer programmers talk to computers. Computer programming can be done from anywhere in the world, so companies sometimes hire programmers in countries where wages are lower. They also ensure that all source code is written in programming languages that can be understood by the computer so that programs can then be used by end-users.

Students must earn a grade of “C” or better for all courses required within the program. Experts recommend computer programming students learn C++ as one of their first languages. Computer programming relies on logic, so students will be expected to develop both their math and problem-solving skills in concert.

If you ask Wikipedia that question, you will find that a Programming Language “is a formal language, which comprises a set of instructions that produce various kinds of output,” which is of course true, but in true encyclopedia form also mostly unhelpful.

Using Microsoft’s Visual Integrated Development Environment, students learn advanced concepts on how to work with arrays and collections, structures and files, and XML to build robust business solutions.

IT Analysis, Design, and Project Management will provides a review and application of systems life cycle development methodologies and project management.
